synchronicity...

As I mentioned in a Blogger post on 28th June, 2025, I created this song on Songer. It is a mix of my tanka and haiku I posted on Blue Sky. They have then been converted to lyrics. I selected a mix of music styles and struggled to ask Songer to create male and female voices alternating. Finally did it. This is the result. 

Embers and Echoes

Today I was playing this...a few tears...and suddenly a message from my soulmate (across the sea for 6 weeks) as the song played.

This is not the first time such a connection has happened...

And still I am rocked and very grateful it is there when I need it...

And I have found a soulmate

With a blackbird on his shoulder

Who gives meaning to guitar strings

And warms my heart as it grows older
