a couple of Temora signs...

In the main street of Temora today, I found the above sign...
It gave pause for reflection, enhanced by the glass reflecting a part of the street and sky,
dependent on where you stand...

I also found the above 'sign' on the side of a corner main street shop...
Similar heritage images are scattered on main street windows...

I felt a gentle connection between the sign in the first photo and the 'signs' in the 2nd...

clearing autumn street leaves...

It's a sunny, cold, 6°C right now in Temora...(but it was 1°C at 7:00am this morning)...
Outside is a man with a blower clearing autumn leaves from the street...
the whole street and council strips...
I have never seen this happen before...

He is driving leaves into 2 piled strips toward the middle of the road...

Fortunately, the street is very wide and drivers are kindly and carefully driving in the area between the strips...

There appear to be various contraptions on his ute...

It is clear that this guy is no spring chicken...

His methodical, paced patience is quite amazing...

I am wondering if he will return...
There are still plenty of autumn leaves yet to fall...

UPDATE

And now a truck has arrived to clear the 2 strips of leaves left on the street...

When stray branches interfere with the mechanism, the truck stops, rear uplifted, and the branches get their own special delivery to the truck...
