neighbour's son...

NEW EXPERIENCE...Neighbour's young son just arrived to play with my daughter's son...He came in and said a cheery hello to me...Gave me a beautiful hug and asked if I was feeling better...(Still getting over weakness from pneumonia)...
What a beautiful start to the day...

my neighbour's cat...

This little furball is my neighbour's cat...

Not long after I moved to Temora, she wandered in and introduced herself...on the front verandah...

(I was shocked because she looked so much like my dear little furball friend who was so unwell (she was 15) and needed to be put down...She died in my arms...

All that happened several months before I moved...another tragedy in my life)...

I was further shocked because this little furball happily strolled across the verandah 

and jumped on my lap, as if she knew me...

Quite strange...

I have learnt that this little one belongs to a rather 'wild' family...

and seems to need some cuddles and some loving...

Sadly, with all the dogs in my daughter's household, she cannot go further than the verandah and also, my daughter's husband is not particularly fond of cats...

So this little one and I tend to meet in secret...

She seems to know when I am on the verandah, comes running with a 'miaow hello' 

and jumps on my lap...

(I've given her our secret name of 'Munchkin'... I just cannot call her by her real name of Flash)...

It's rather nice having our secret friendship...

She seems to need me and perhaps I need her too...

Not sure where it all will end, but time will tell...

So for now, I'll just enjoy...

Neighbours came in to introduce themselves. Beautiful couple.
Other neighbours' little furball came running for a cuddle.
+ Centrelink approved my pension - as per their estimated approval date.

The little one seems to long for attention and rubs...

Of course, I accommodate...

Sadly, my son-in-law is not too fond of cats...

Initially, I found Flash on the bonnet of his car...

So I had to scuttle her before he noticed...
