to find new worlds
read and read and read#haiku
2022 - Was it really just 2 years ago I rediscovered my love of reading? (not school texts?) Ironically, this first book was given to me by a teacher at the school before I retired fromm teaching... pic.twitter.com/UQXNmJ5VwX
Temora = Wiradjuri land. But a German first chose the site of Temora (although the town has a name of Irish derivation); another German laid out the township.

verandah reading + spotting today...
Recent rainy day photography tended to be limited to taking photographs of 'whatever' from the verandah...
There were a few macros...
But today was different...
I returned to reading the long-neglected but wonderful 'The Book Thief'... in verandah sunshine...
Revelled in verandah light and shadows...
Great to see some winter afternoon street travellers enjoying the sunshine...
Loved the company of my neighbour's fluffball...(I call her Munchkin for now)...
Once afternoon cool emerged, I was quite content...happily returning to the indoors...
My soul felt nourished...
with a little help from my daughter's delightful, home-made chicken and vegetable soup...
