fishing for poetry...

In recent days
I have realised that perhaps I have been fishing for poetry in the wrong way...

What if I mix up a stew of poetic ideas on ChatGPT,
then sort it out into tanka or haiku
or both

and then ask ChatGPT to create a silhouette response to my final poem

DIFFERENT

P.S. The guy above is not fishing. He is cleaning his backyard pool in Dromana.
I guess that idea fits this post too.

magic moonlight threads...

magic moonlight threads weave dark oceans to dark skies no vanishing point seamless silhouettes #indivisibility #vss365 #tanka

The above photo was taken in 2015.
It is a view of Port Phillip Bay by night as from my home part way up Arthurs Seat.

It fascinates me how all sense of horizon and vanishing point visible by day simply becomes invisible.
The world becomes a sea of silhouettes.

Strangely, I find such a scene soothing for weary eyes.
