my Mother's Day gift...

more Lake Centenary...

Still basking in the wonder of yesterday and Temora's Lake Centenary...

Loved the tinges of Autumn and the gathering of clouds framing the scenes...

And the reflection detail was magical...

Cloud patterns constantly seemed to change, demanding a cameo role in the beauty of the day...

Lake Centenary for Mother's Day...

MOTHER'S DAY - the first one I have celebrated with family in a long, long time...

Met up with my older grandsons from Wollongong...(They left Wollongong at 4am this morning to get to Temora about 8:00am)...+ step-grandson + partner...+ daughter, husband and 2 younger grandsons... for a Mother's Day to always remember...

Travelled to Temora main street Kayshe Espresso for a special Campos Coffee...We took up all the outdoor street dining area and enjoyed coffee under beautiful autumn sunlight...(I noticed passers-by looked at us and smiled...Felt good)...

Then we took time to admire the progress of my daughter's and son-in-law's new house...

And finally travelled to the magical world of Lake Centenary nearby...(The sign above appears by the lake)...The lake is man-made...It attracts power-boating, water skiing, sailing, canoeing, fishing and swimming enthusiasts and those who simply wish to spend recreational time walking or sitting by water...

We walked the 2km round the lake...Of course, I took many photos...Of course, I slowed the pace a little with my stopping and starting (taking photos)...But no one seemed to mind...

Finally, we enjoyed scones, jam and cream by the lake...A little van kiosk - 'Sugar and Spice' - parked by the lake provided the goodies...

A beautiful day in beautiful company...

Mother's Day Morning Tea...

This will be the first Mother's Day in many many years that I have been with my daughter...
Today, we both attended my grandson's Mother's Day morning tea at his school in Temora...
Coffee or tea and individual plates of delightful sandwiches, cake and biscuits were available...
We just had to choose one from the range on offer...

I was amazed at how many parents turned up to my grandson's small Temora school...

I was quite sure that every family was represented...
Many mothers, some fathers and nannas were there...

Just so lovely...
