his old tin shed sways...

his old tin #shed sways drunk on endless winds and rains yet my note's still there faded, stamped with muddy boots and my one anxious word - wait #vss365 #tanka #poetry #blueskypoets

Strathalbyn on New Year's Day

One of those unplanned days where you do a slow dance in warm, gentle breezes.

Outside in the company of Lilly and Bramble...sleeping their sleep...

Valentina works the needle of her industrial sewing machine in her special large shed of tables and fabrics...

The ongoing hum and buzz of the machine is actually quite soothing, comforting...

My son Scott is embroiled in secret men's business...in his shed...on the opposite side of the backyard...

I am somewhere in the middle at a wooden table on a wooden chair under a shady verandah awning...trying to avoid attracting summer flies...and trying to let the creative thoughts flow unimpeded and without judgemental question...
