Swift commemorated Emily Dickinson with the release of her album Evermore on the poet’s birthday and Ancestry.com more recently posited that they share a lineage. Swift’s lyrics suggest a love for the novels of the Brontës and she has spoken effusively of Jane Austen’s Sense and Sensibility.
