glimpses of Wagga...

 

On the day we visited the Junee Chocolate and Licorice Factory, we first visited Wagga...
My 2 grandsons were getting their regular holiday dentist check-up...
While they waited for their appointment, I wandered nearby streets...
These photos only represent glimpses of the outskirts of the Wagga township near the Murrumbidgee River...

At the end of the street above is a walkway and cycleway high above the Murrumbidgee...




It was difficult to see much of the river because of all the trees, and I had limited time to explore the extensive walkway to see if it opened up further...
I needed to get back to my daughter and grandsons...


On the way back to my daughter and grandsons, I missed the walkway turnoff but found this lovely church and, not far away, a rather sad old building that looked almost abandoned...
Quite a contrast...
